When are Annual Progress Reports due? What if it is my last year of residency?

  • By September 1, all activities must be logged; all Supervisors must have signed off on the reported activities; and the Mentor must have reviewed and approved the Progress Report. If you are in your final year of residency, and plan on taking the exam that year, residents must submit their Annual Progress Report by July 15. at 11:59pm EST.

When do I have to submit a Major Change form for my Residency Training Facility? 

  • Any time there is a major change within the residency program, this form must be filed with the ACVECC office within 15 days of the event. See page 9-10 in the Residency Training Standards for more details. 

What if I already paid for the exam, but I can’t sit for it? (ex. personal issues, not credentialed, etc.)

  • In the event that you can’t sit for the exam, but have already registered and paid for it, we will honor your fee for the following year’s exam.
