AVMA Resources

All AVMA Recognized Veterinary Specialty Organizations™ like the ACVECC are governed by the American Board of Veterinary Specialties (ABVS). The ABVS consists of individuals representing differents sectors of veterinary medicine, including the Veterinary Specialty Organizations Commitee (VSOC). Every AVMA Recognized Veterinary Specialty Organization™ has a VSOC Representative. These two important AVMA committees provide insight into oversight that plays a crucial role in shaping the future of and advocating for veterinary specialty medicine. Below please find links to more information about the ABVS and the VSOC.
